Executive Assistant
Downtown Houston, TX, $80-85K
Private equity backed energy firm located downtown in search of an Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel, CIO, and light support for the HR Director.
Responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary contact for the executives
- Monitor heavy and fluctuating calendar, calls, e-mails, and flow of communication
- Plan and coordinate meetings and special projects for executives as requested
- Maintain accountability and accept responsibility for daily activities reporting to executive on status of all activities, requests, and open items
- Process invoices for office
- Manage and process Houston office Amex Corporate card
- Help facilitate entity tax filings along with certified mailings
- Create and maintain highly sensitive tax/finance Excel spreadsheets and documents
- Assist with planning and coordination of company events (holiday party, volunteer events, etc.)
Requirements:
- 7-12+ years’ experience in a similar executive support role; college degree preferred
- Financial industry and/or management consulting knowledge highly desirable
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent diplomatic skills; skilled at developing and maintaining personal, social, and business relationships
- Highly developed planning and organizational skills; able to anticipate change and adjust responses accordingly
- Superior time management skills; critical thinker with strong attention to detail
Work hours are in office M-F, 8:30-5, with good schedule flexibility. Highly upscale office with onsite chef. Outstanding benefits package, annual bonus opportunity, and paid parking offered.
