Executive Assistant
Downtown Houston, TX, $80-92K
Oil & gas client located in downtown Houston in search of an Executive Assistant to support the VP Land, VP HSE, and VP Geoscience. This position is newly created due to company growth.
Responsibilities will include:
- Serve as primary contact for executives
- Assist executive team with current and prospective owner/partner-related communications and data
- Manage logistics for domestic and international travel; provide detailed itineraries, agendas, directions and backup materials
- Prepare expense reports
- Assist in organizing team events, such as NAPE Conference, happy hours, offsites, charity drives, and volunteer days
- Liaise with HR and office management as needed to provide administrative and logistical support on special events, conferences, and team offsites
- Proactively monitor heavy and fluctuating calendars, calls, e-mail, and flow of communication
- Plan and coordinate special projects for executives as requested
- Conduct research and advanced planning for meetings and events
Requirements:
- 5-7 years executive support experience up to the VP level, preferably in the oil & gas industry
- College degree preferred
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Critical thinking with strong attention to detail
Fully in-office position M-F, 8am - 4:30pm. Paid parking, outstanding benefits package, and annual bonus offered.
